Beautiful!!
But am I missing something?......what kind of bass is it?
Price means nothing to playability and tone. But if you could put a price tag on looks, I'd say that looks like a 3k bass.....it looks beautiful man!!Well, that is the funny thing about it. It is a Harley Benton bass. For those who don't know, HB is Thomann's inhouse brand. I've been skeptical about them, but then I read many great reviews online about their quality/price ratio, and since I was bored and thought it might be fun to try something as far out as a 7-string, I took the plunge. And I'll tell you this: the quality you get for your money here is unlike most other stuff! Sure, there a few things that makes you able to tell that it is not a 3000€ Warwick bass, but then again, it costs 1/10 of that!
So, all in all, I am surprised and delighted with the quality and playability of this beast. Won't be my main bass for sure, but the thing is one helluva fun bass to play.
