this is a non Warwick bass I'm talking about but I guess it doesn't matter. It has 2 passive J-pups and active electronics. when the pup blend knob set in the middle the sound is even sounding between the 2 pups. I can tap on each pup with a screwdriver and get equal sound from each. but...

Anyone know how to build this or can point me in the direction of someone who does?

I just waxed and oiled my 5-stringer corvette and the strings are off...I'm tempted to blast 'em with some Radio Shack Precision Electronics cleaner. My instinct is telling me it would removed any "gunk" that's built up on the strings (they're about 5-6 weeks old)...what do you folks think?

Hi - I have just acquired a very nice Corvette 4 Bubinga fretless, all passive, 2004 built. I'm thinking of changing the electronics to active using the MEC preamp set M60013. Having looked at the schematic on the website this looks like an easy swap. Has anyone else done this and if so...
