Pickup and electronics options

I'm interested in having a 5 string Thumb BO built, but I'm not digging the sound of the MEC electronics. The Barts are a bit too polite for my tastes.

Would the custom shop install Delano pickups and their SONAR preamp in a custom bass?
 
I think you can only get MEC, EMG and Bartolini from Warwick.
Buy a thumb BO 5 and get and install those pickups and electronics yourself =)
 
Order the MEC electronics and I'll buy them from you! I absolutely love the tone of the MEC stuff and would love to add a set to my custom 4 string fretless, currently using an active EMG jazz rig.
 
As far as I know, they will instal the delanos, but you have to provide the pickups and electronics.
Let's see what Gregory, our Custom Shop Manager is saying. He will reply soon ;-)

We offered in the past to put in pickups and electronics system provided by the customer, but we don´t do it anymore. So if you want to put different electronics or pickups than the one from our selection, just take the standard pickups and electronics from the bass model, and you will be free to later replace everything by a professionnal or yourself .
