    Do I have a curve bridge ?

Hi, I just found that recently, I love low action on the setup of strings so it is not a problem before, but when I try to raise the bridge to get higher action for slapping and I found the bridge looks curve...... Is it a curve bridge ? is that normal ? What should I do, the setup is hard...

    Warwick 1-piece bridge

I'm thinking of replacing the bridge in my RockBass Fortress. Reason I'm here rather than the RockBass forum is this: I know Warwick initially put 1-piece bridges on their basses, so I'd kinda like to go that way. I believe I've heard the original bridges were Schallers. I've looked at those and...

Differences between one piece and two piece bridge?

Besides the obvious visual differences, how does the old one piece bridge affect the bass versus the newer two piece bridge?

Old 80's Streamers with the one-piece bridge.

Are they any good? Readers of my recent posts will know that I've got what I consider THE Streamer - a 90's SS1 - but I've had a spontaneous punt on an 87 model with the wenge neck / maple stringers, EMG's and the one-piece bridge. Should be with me late next week I hope. Anyone own a...

Warwick thumb bridge pup closer to strings than neck pup?

I've tried setting up my thumb myself after letting someone do it and them leaving me with a completely flat neck--no relief whatsoever. So, I set the relief to what the manual said and lowered the bridge leaving me with the amount of space the manual said should be between the e and g strings...

Different W's? Gold bridge vs Black bridge...

When I got my new gold bridge and string anchor I noticed a few differences... Theyre both 6 string broadneck... But the Gold string anchor has a regular W on it... Not the warwick W, Kinda weird eh? Also... The black string anchor allowed me to have regular strings without having to get tapered...

    Bridge project complete

thanks to avionix543 my Warwick bridge project is complete. Bob really did a great job making these saddles(vintage bone) for my "Vette". the original saddles were worn out and not doing their job so I opted for a different style saddle and along with the Warwick bridge feature in being able...

    Brass bridge and string anchor

What's your opinion about W 2 pieces brass bridges ? I tried an old thumb with the 2 pieces brass bridge and unplugged, it sounded like it was a better slap machine than my 96 and 01 thumb (both with wenge neck), but I prefer the overall sound of later ones when plugged. I liked much the...

    Removing Warwick Bridge

I'm replacing the gold hardware (urgh) on my 1990 Streamer Stage One with black hardware (yey). I've easily removed the tailpiece part of the bridge, but I've not got the foggiest how to remove the main part. How do I do it? I've labelled the screws so we can all talk about the same thing easily:

    Rockbass Bridge...

I'm the happy new owner of a Corvette 5 Fretless, and was wondering if it was possible to change the bridge to a two piece Warwick bridge at some point? I'd like to use thicker gauge strings (mainly a .145 d'addario for the B), and the string through bridge is a little annoying with fat...

    Bridge saddle replacement

I want to know if warwick make a replacement for the tail piece so that it fits all gauges of b string. I have great trouble finding strings that fit my bass, due to the tight fit on bridge tailend. a while back lex sent me a link via msn, that showed a shop in australia selling replacement...

    What kind of bridge...

Here's a random question for you... :) If you go to the Custom Shop's info page, there's a picture of a Streamer (I think!) with a strange non-Warwick looking bridge. This is the same style of bridge used on some Ibanez BTB basses, they call it a Monorail. What kind of bridge is this? What...

    Removing Bridge

Sorry for the silly question. Is there a way to remove the bridge without goofing up the settings/height/action? I have a hum that stops when I tough the strings. I am thinking it is a grounding problem.
