What kind of bridge...

Here's a random question for you... :)

If you go to the Custom Shop's info page, there's a picture of a Streamer (I think!) with a strange non-Warwick looking bridge. This is the same style of bridge used on some Ibanez BTB basses, they call it a Monorail.

What kind of bridge is this? What are the benefits/downsides of it? I really liked the Ibanez I played which had this, and could maybe want it for a custom bass I'll be ordering if I get the bonus I'm hoping for!

If I'm not sadly mistaken, that bridge is Hipshot bridge. But e-mailing the custom shop including this picture will get a more straight answer to that question. They can be contacted through e-mail at [email protected]

Those Monorails are String through, more Percussive, No string to string vibration, complete isolation.
