Hi Greg,

Actually it is indeed a silver sharpie pen....It's a real autograph. He played it in Las Vegas 2007, then signed it and gave it back to Dana B. Goods. Then it was used for the giveaway that I won.

It is not the limited edition JB's that came out a while back. Those are the ones that had the Mother of Pearl inlay's.





The sig is already wearing off in the middle, and I've only jammed with it maybe 7-8 times. I need to check with a local luthier, on how to protect it better. I love the real autograph, as I've never seen another Thumb personally signed by Jack

oops,sorry,my mistake.I assumed it was a production model JB Thumb.As far as I'm concerned,yours is even more special coz JB actually played & signed it.I'm really glad to hear you want to protect it.The only way I can see to do that is to apply a clear coat over the signature.Let us know what your luthier says.
