Ah, it was deleted. We should move on. We have all posted something and then edited or deleted it at one point or another haven't we? :)
 
Lower nut action, with stock 1st generation brass nut.

Is a lower action possible with the 1st generation blass nut? Its helt rather hard to fret notes at 1-2 frets for my 86 streamer. Nope, I dont want a brass Just-a-nut 1/3. Does it meant I got to file down? :|
 
If you need the whole thing lower, you sand it on the downside, if it is individual strings on the upper side
 
I have just officially put in my custom order for a 4-string Streamer LX from Germany. I can't wait for it to arrive. I got it in the natural oil maple (no color), along with black hardware, a custom inlay, and their custom ultra thin neck option. This thing is going to be killer. i got endorsed by Warwick for their Amps, cabs, and basses. the bass is the only thing i have left to get. in about 6 weeks, I will be rocking this beast! pics to follow!

Finally got an '04 SS2!!
It sounds much colder and growlier than my SS1.
Ex-owner has replaced its JAN2 by a bone nut but I ordered a brass JAN3 on ebay. Sooooooooo expensive one:eek:
Maybe.. I wanna switch every hardware to black.
More pics to come.
 
I prefer the gold to the black. To me it always makes it seem more luxurious

I had black hardware on my SSII for a time. Pantry's reasoning is why I went back to gold.

Anyway, if you want a preview, here's what mine looked like:

With the preview.. well... it is hard to tell which I prefer..
Can't afford all the replacement though:)

I am so jelly. The only thing stopping my jaw hitting the ground is my erection. SS2 is my dream bass, and would gladly give up Lexi to get one. 5 strings of course :D
