=The Warwick Streamer Club=

looks great!

For sure. Beautiful.

I know where I'm sending a bass to have finished when that time comes.

Great finish work! Gorgeous.

Just wow! Better than natural finish!

Thanks everyone! I will pass these wonderful comments on to Chris. Chris worked at Paul Reed Smith guitars for 17 years. His work is second to none. Honestly. I was a little worried about disassembling a handmade classic Streamer. One that played so beautifully. Philtone Guitars took care of that worry. Tender loving care was used to put my new love back together. While reassembling the bass, a 3 band MEC preamp was installed in place of the original 2 band. Sounds phenomenal with the Delanos. Highly recommend it. These guys are so thorough they even polish your nut for you. I love having my nut polished. Special thanks to Jay for polishing my nut and for suggesting the color. :d

Its even meaner looking now...you have to come up with a sweet name for it like helloween or jack the ripper

Absolutely. It's the Orange Krush. Not like the soft drink. More in a Mosh kinda way. Its all in how you say KRUSH!:)

Beautiful job Joe!!!

Strange, nobody made a joke about polishing brass nuts yet...

The Stage 2 made its first live appearance with my new band last night. The tone was absolutely killer...

I'm lucky...my wife polishes my nuts on a regular basis! :d

Does that mean you've lost the whole "Tool" aspect of playing?

Hmm... I'm not sure I understand your question. The only aspect of my playing that will change is writing bass lines that fit with a 2 guitar player band - something I've never done before. But that does include using less effects - is that what you meant?

Pretty much 2 guitar players and no effects = Less Tool like.

I;m not giving up my effects for no one, heh, but then again my 2 guitarists are interested in a bass player using effects. :d

I didn't say "no effects", I said "less effects". Unless your guitarists are doing a ton of laying back, your effects will just get lost in the mix anyway.. especially live. I guess I'd rather focus on my playing and my main bass sound... it's certainly not Tool's bass sound anyway. ;)

Hey folks,
Some beautiful Streamers have been acquired since I was last here.it's great to see you're all still keepin the big W happenin.
Re. SSII looking better sans yin yangs?
