=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Dala and Mart all i can say is  wow simple but effective

Cheers. I guess in a Thumb the extra batteries would help with the neckdive ;)

I don't think so actually. a significant amount of bubinga was chipped out of the bass to fit the batteries. Bubinga is heavy too.

I posted photos of my Streamer Pro-M already but not in this thread so here:

How do you like your Pro M? I'm HOPING to have a 95 - 96 Pro M by this weekend! I have a Fortress MasterMan already, so I'm familiar with the electronics. And I have a Stremer STD, so I'm familiar with the Streamer. Should be a Good Match!

That's a good point Patrik; it got me thinking.... unfortunately my thoughts are rather boring, so I'd stop reading now if you value your time :d

Bubinga is, indeed, heavy. One website says it's about 50-60 pcf. But, how heavy is a battery? Another website says an alkaline 9v battery weighs 45.6g (nicads and zinc batteries are much lighter), which, if I calculate correctly, means 63pcf. So the battery wins by a nose. Given that there's a little empty space around the battery it's probably safe to say that carving out all that space for the batteries doesn't change the overall weight or balance at all!

But, of course, if you were looking at a bass made of almost any other wood, then it'll be lighter than bubinga (from a quick search ebony is the only denser wood), so putting batteries in will make it slightly heavier. Mahogany, for example, is only 33pcf.

Awww bugger.
Are ya sure it's broken?
Is it just not responding?

not just ignoring my actions... neck's curve looks like a rollercoaster

Maybe it's just been adjusted too far.It happened to my old Thumb.Try turing it clockwise untill it feels like it's engaged if it feels like it's free spinning.

I just took delivery of this Beauty! I found it's a 97, not a 95, and it's kinda Dirty, although the body is well waxed, and the neck well oiled. Screws and joints need some TLC! I'll disassemble and make it like new again.

Initial Pics, more to follow...

What a Body! (Small Chip missing from below 24th fret)

I didn't realize that these bodies were so Contoured!

This "W" Should run for President!

Original Warwick Case Too!

nice bass, but it doesn't need waxing!

Ya sure he waxed the red parts Anthony?
Maybe he only used the wax for the back of the neck, which is fine.
Waxing the body will fade the finish over time.
