My kind of Streamer; if anyone sees one with wenge neck and 2 piece bridge, let me know and I'd buy in a snap... or trade for an equal Warwick (soz don't have a Buzzard ;) )!

    Its Afzalea pomelle.

Na, I hate wide spacing and IMO the "sound of wood" is afzalea, bubinga, wenge, ebony and ovangkol. I've never liked the sound of Warwick's made without these woods.

    They have different Spacings?

So basicly you don't like maple :D I can agree with this

Stage I 5 strings are traditionally broad necked basses, although they make some standard spaced variations.

I hate maple, except for fretboards. It's not a bad wood, but it the polar opposite of the woods I like in basses. My preference of course. Theres a huge population that love light weight traditional woods in their basses, mostly over on talkbass. But you know, the average talkbasser is a P bass loving weekend warrior over 60 so...there's that.

I was unawere about that. Never touched a NT Stage I and on pics they seemed like "standard" (if one can say that) Necks.

The Streamer I wanna test (and probably own) would be one with Cherry Body and Wenge Neck as NT, with Neck dimensions like the NT Thumbs from 92

Curious @StreamerII84 ... What's with the plugs on the 6'er?

Did a knob and some switches get removed?

The SSII 6 came stock with the MEC 3 band and passive soapbars with switching options. I pulled out the stock stuff and installed SD active soapbars and a 2 band SD pre, used the plugs to cover the holes.

OMG , the pomelle looks finger-licking.
The wood looks very light, is it the foto flash? In original they must be more dark-redish??
