Thanks for the info on preamps 'M'

I was thinking that it I swap the 3 band out that I might go for Bart or Glock as I am 'very' impressed with the Glock bass Art amp that I have. If the pre is anywhere near as good as the amp then I think I'd be happy!

I should start learning norwegian, since I'm planning a trip in Norway next october... Bergen and Oslo obviously.

Ahah, I know that Norwegian is nowhere close to German, but still... When I said "I should start learning", it meant that it's a thing that I'd better do, but it's not in my plan at all. All I'll do is to get a book with basic words and let's go !

That's cool, although my Thumb NT 4 is my favorite bass. I find the NTs have a better neck-body transition and that their bodies are smaller, more "sporty" than the elongated BO version Thumbs. When it comes to a BO Thumb, I find the wider neck 5 and 6 strings help to ballance ot the look.

The other thing I love is the concave back of both the Thumb and the Streamer. It's definitely ergonomic on my pot belly, but it also looks so cool as a professional touch!

The reason I favore these two basses is that I get a traditional, funk, and R&B from the maple and P/J of the Streamer and I get modern and aggressive pro tone from my growly Thumb! Covering all the "basses."

If the Thumb and Streamer were movie stars, then the Thumb would be Angelina Jolie and the Streamer would be Charlize Theron. Both stunningly beautiful, but one is such an odd ball.

I used to despise the Streamer shape but now...... after this came I am digging it. these are pics before cleaning and once I am done I will post some after cleaning. is from 1986 and has Nickel frets and EMGZ which I have beeen told this is something that happened around that time but they are beautiful strill.

I'm really digging white Warwicks lately and that Streamer is a beaut! I also like in that second pic, how the white is outlining the headstock! Great vintage find!!!
