I won't comment on the move to China, all I can say is that I think the same that flipper does.


The new LTD 2010 is SEXY AS HELL ! Too bad it's a 'vette, and that I'm done with the 'vette shape. But man, it looks so good and I bet it must sound amazing !

As for the new sig' models, they're cool but that's it. Nothing that makes me horny about them lol.

And the Thumb SC looks really cool, except for that maple piece on the top... It doesn't look good to me.

Yeah, I agree, that bit is kind of ugly, and strikes me as a very odd design decision. However; if it SOUNDS good and has good balance, then I'm all in anyway (well, if the price ain't too steep, that is).
 
My first bass at 15 was not a Warwick because I could not afford Corvette std. I bought and sold numerous basses to get to my "99 Vette std.
IMO it makes sense to have products for the snot nosed high school kid and the snooty collector.
I will never sell my Vette, that gets played maybe once a month, because of sentimental value.
Feathers get ruffled/company comes out with more hot schidt/GAS kicks in again.
 
The LTD is HOT! and I'm starting to like the thumb SC.
about the corvette moving, I understand the financial point of view of warwick,
but I think that this is a model that made lots of people buy a 'Wick and then get an expensive one,IMO.
The rockbass Alien looks very interesting!
 
I bet that the LTD 2010 will be sold out very QUICK. Lots of Warwick fans will be sad I'm afraid...

Oh my! One of these will definitely find its way to my house. Always been interested in the Alien, but never wanted to allocate that much cash for an acoustic bass when I could be buying an electric for that price. I dig the colors too. Can't wait to hear/play one in person.
 
I survived the initial tidal wave of GAS after seeing the new releases for 2010, especially the Limited Edition... but I'll probably have to pick up a RockBass Alien! 8:
 
Anyone know the price range for those two Alien Rockbasses? I imagine they'll be in line with the rest of the rockbass line, but are they going to be in the cheap end, high end, or middle?
 
That new thumb is the best SC bass I've seen. I didn't like SC basses before this one. The SC must stand for "sexy cut"!
The 2010 LE is just so well done! I'm very proud of Warwick for this effort. I like the marriage of old and new, with the bold ,yet elegant top wood. Very well thought out. If either one of these basses ever come within my range, I will not hesitate to pull the proverbial trigger!

So the "Pro"-series of the Corvette STD is basically the same as always, just made somewhere else?

It really doesn`t matter to me where it is built, but series that are called "Platinum", "Premium", "Pro", "Gold" or "Made in Heaven, by appointment of the Royal Cort", always seem extra cheap and downgraded.

I`d just let it stick with the regular, "non-pro" (haha!) Warwicks, and just say "PS! Made in China". It`ll be interesting to follow this.

BTW, cool to see the LTD 2010 as both 5str and lefthanded. :)

When will we see the "Hellborg Basic"-series? ;)
 
BTW, can anyone let me know if they see a lefthanded, 5-stringed Taranis out there?

OK i am seriously temped to try and sell everything i can skip the laptop i was going to get and buy the 2010 LTD...it looks stunning!

Rockbass aliens are awesome. So is the fact you can get 5 strings and fretless (that wasn't offered before was it?). I am seriously concidering one after the price increase in 2008 the alien was completely out of my price range...now though....and in fretless.... I am very tempted!

I really love the SC design and shape sadly its 5er BN only :(

The corvette 'pro' line stuff after florin's comment i completely understand. Will i be getting one? nope because i have my eyes set on higher up models.

All in all i'm very excited about this all the stuff and just wish i was rich and could afford it all!
