Darkglass gaining ground on the Warwick forum.
I must add that dirtboxes work very well with Warwick basses because of their tight and present midrange qualities.
On the bass big muff the 50/50 clean/fuzz mode sounds like two seperate signals rather then tightening up your fuzz tone. A Duality fuzzbox does not have this problem. However, I am using my muff in the standard mode which totally obscures my tone and makes any bass simply sound like a muff.

Loving this thread. Been making some upgrades to my board, pics once its all here.
 
Big Muff gone, big power adaptor gone, guitar section added.

Increasingly also-playing-guitar so divided my board into two sections.

Left hand side is a complete guitar tube preamp with analog speaker emulation and a nice TC Trinity reverb pedal in its fx loop. This goes straight into a mixing desk/line in, bass rig or guitar amp (with the speaker sim switched off).
Right hand side is a complete bass preamp with analog speaker emulation and two nice dirtboxes by Darkglass. This goes straight into a mixing desk/line in or bass rig (with the speaker sim switched off).

This config also allows me to work on songs with our guitar player, simply plug the floorboard into my laptop and slap on a couple of headphones. Smart stuff with no modelling crap going on. Tons of tone!

A smaller and better 1A power adapter is on its way as the Gator has a really stupid tiny fragile retarded idiotic connector towards mains that keeps falling out.

I've been researching and building this for a long time. I am really happy with it at this point.



Signal Chain:
Line6 M5 - octavers, EQ, or synth presets
Source Audio OFD - OD's, fuzzes, and EQ, volume adjustments, LPF
Source Audio Manta - Filters, fuzz, phaser, and EQ tweaks

The RP-1 (the controller/board on the left) is a guitar multi effects but the audio does not run through it. It is used as a MIDI controller. I have 10 1 click presets on it (more 'banks available, just havent programmed them yet.) Every preset makes each effect go to where I need it. For example, my always on OD sets the M5 to octaver and OFF, the OFD to light OD, and the Manta OFF. I can click on the M5 as needed. My synthy sound on patch 7/8 turns the M5 to the synth patches, the OFD for volume control since the M5 lacks this on same presets, and the Manta OFF. It's pretty awesome and it wasn't hard at all to set up.

I am currently working on a video run through off all my current presets. I'll post it once it's all done.

Future plans, add a dedicated Source audio EQ, expression pedal and/or hot hand, always on the hunt for synthy stuff and fuzz.
 
That´s a mothertrucking RP-1 from like 1993... My brother had one, it was his first multieffect ever.

Yup!! I got it for $20, which is mighty cheap compared to even the weakest of MIDI controllers that are available today. One of these days I'll have to check out the effects in it too.

It has not the form of a pedalboard yet, but I have a Darkglass B7K, and the digitech vocalist live 4, and sometimes a tuner :-)
