...and yes, I know. Been away for seven years. A lot of basses passed through my hands since then, but as I get older I turn towards my original bass love; Warwick. I'm trying to go for a custom build.

This should be here in the next few days. I remember seeing this come up in the warwick custom shop gallery and thought at the time this is how I'd do it if I ordered a custom single cut. This came up for sale in Japan so jumped on it. Will be a great partner for my Stage 1. Can't wait to play this!!

A pair of the MJS Big Singles for my black Aria Pro Ii Explorer bass which Smiity, proprietor of MJS, will custom build for me sometime mid-December and ship to arrive in January since I’ll be gone for the whole month-

He mentioned a stacked coil version to avoid hium but said I’d lose some of the top end. So I decided to go with standard configuration- but it won’t hum with both pickups selected-

They will go into an EMG 40 style cover as seen here on the white one-

I love the sound of that one which came with a split inline single at the neck and a standard humbucker at the bridge but wanted some variety-

I was considering active EMG’s with P -reverse P configurations but ultimately decided to stick with passive-
 
Well, since I’ll be spending the next month away from home with nothing more than Vox AmPlugs and a Blackstar Fly, I decided on -

For bass and guitar-
