New strings for my Dolphin.
I test this french manufacturer near Lyon, It's spécialized in all strings instruments.
This unusual calibration (43 63 85 107) must have a better balancing tension between each string which applies an equal force on the whole neck...

Actually the tension of the string is not only depending on the thickness of the string, but also on the material and the thickness of the wire.
This sounds more like marketing talk for me. But i hope they will sound nice for :)

Indeed, I did a little research about this back in the summer before recording some bass. For example, I learned the hard way (after spending 30+€) that 55-110 Ernie Ball strings don’t have enough tension for drop tuning. In fact they feel super flimsy only half step down (Eb standard).
I ended buying single D’Addario strings and making a “custom” set, not based on the gauge but on the tension. Lucky me D’Addario publishes a string tension chart AND sell single strings. OTOH, Ernie Ball doesn’t. In fact, most brands DON’T publish that info, go figure.

Lol I bought a Source Audio C4 about a year ago and am still trying to figure some things out!

I had one for about a year but eventually traded it for something else (not another synth pedal though). I loved the sounds but just couldn't seem to wrap my head around the iOS app programming interface. That said if you haven't seen the deep dive that Nathan Navarro did on it, definitely check it out on YouTube.

I'll let you know what happens after a first try!

I responded seeing to the alert of new posts by Gnermo in both "Incoming" and "Drinking" threads-- when I saw the
"Cold/Hot' button at the top, I wondered which one I had opened!
I’m going further: is Gnermo’s drinking related to buying fancy pedals?? 😁😉

EDIT: I said Gnermo but it could be any of us. 🤣
