Incoming!!! (show Us Your New Stuff Before You Actually Have It)

I know this. I once ordered a Marantz hifi amp and didn’t remember next day. I was reminded when it arrived… 😄
That happened with my Gibson Custom Shop Flying V! But I don't regret the results. Honestly we already wanted it to happen regardless.. if we're being honest!

I still own the Marantz! 😁 Now let’s have some beer and order a 12 string Streamette! 😂

Interesting, let us know how this works out for you guys.
This particular in-ear headphone did not work with my ears. I only hear around 250hz to 8khz through it whatever I try. Bandmates tell me it sounds perfectly fine for them.
The shape of my ears must be incompatible or something. I practiced with on-ears instead but playing bass through headphones turns out to take out any thrill in playing.
I am now secretly pushing the band back to bringing big amp stacks. In-ears is nice for vocals tho you really hear a lot more details of what you're doing.

Besides this, in Europe there's only a few narrow frequency bands available to use your wireless monitoring and mics. These are very close to 4G frequencies and known as the bandgap (823-832 MHz) and ISM (863-865 MHz) bands. Within bandgap you're allowed to use 100mW and in ISM only 10mW equipment. Our transmitters are in the ISM range and pick up a lot of noise from 4G phones/antennas. I did some research and ISM is not used by any of the professionals, they use bandgap or other frequencies (518-554, 584-608, 655-679 @ max 50mW - these are in all operating somewhere in between DVB-T2 radio and tv transmitter frequencies and results will vary by country or even by region).

So far no good. 863-865 MHz has VERY poor results for now.

Saw that one for sale, I suspect the truss rod being not in the greatest state so I wasn't much interested!

Congrats!

For two of the three ladies who will be at the upcoming book signing for the “Heartbreakers” comic release - the one playing the brunette, is ironically a natural redhead and does not need a wig for her role as Elsie the Bartender-

Those who know this bass will understand why I had to snatch it. Needs TLC and will get it.

@Hardy , as a guy who own's a Godlyke Deity 10 string (5x2), I'm very curious on what you think of the 12 string (assuming you've finally received it)? I took a look at your profile but didn't see any other threads about it.

The 12 string sounds and plays VERY well! Gladly the selling trader did manage to repair the truss rod break. But now the bass could need a refin. I asked Warwick for a quote. Let’s see!

I paid 80, which isn't too bad. Inflation is a bitch I guess :)
That reminds me of those Ibanez TS-10's I bought way back when they were 3-40 euro each, before John Mayer started using them. Those two pedals netted me around 300 each last year, totally crazy!

Replacement speakers for my scuffed Hellborg, Lavoce FSF122.02.

I thought it was important to keep the dual-conus design the originals had. It would have been easier and cheaper to order something simple like a Celestion and such, but i'm doing to upgrade in conjunction with limited size, unlimited sound
They don't offer a 12" in their range, and this would be a great oppertunity to learn more for them, and myself too!

Have a Source Audio C4 on the way. Finally gave in to my GAS. Also bought a Sennheiser E602-II mic, and a Morningstar MC6 Midi controller. Dropped a few bucks in one hour lol.

The C4 sound and capability will not disappoint, especially in such a small form factor. The challenge for me was learning their programming interface (on the iPad in my case). It's not intuitive to me, but that doesn't take away from how great it can sound.
