Just got a response from the custom shop telling me that a short scale neck is not possible with the new neck profile option.Someone have to choose between the shorter scale and the flatneck option on a 34" scale. Why ? :(

My Corvette Standard 5 has a raised "seam" down the center of the back of the entire length of the neck. Not a major problem but I would eventually like to make it nice and smooth. Any suggestions as to how to best do this? I don't want to do anything that will make a visible change to the wood...
