on the Warwick site it says that the Rockbass Fortress has a swamp ash body, but I found a lot fortress basses in cyberstores that have alder bodies (or at least it says there they have).. is that a mistake or there are different series of Fortress basses? :/

What would be good replacement pickups for this bass? The current single coil MECs sound good but are subject to interference... Thanx, ALD

I have a 5 string Fortess One with Seymour Duncan pickups made in Oct of 1994. I am looking to replace the strap lock system from a recessed to an external system. Is there a recommended replacement system? If anyone has heard or done this I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you...

When playing my bass at low volumes or high volumes and pulling the volume know out or pushing it back in, I hardly notice a difference in sound volume or tone, just a slight change in tone. I have 1993 Warwick Fotress One bass with the stock EMG's. Active EMG pickups with passive tone&volume with 1 9v battery. What model EMG system is this? I had '82 Hamer Cruisebass with a similar setup. Is this a late 80's early 90's system thats's not used anymore? Thanks.
