I had this made last year but couldn`t remember my forum username for ages - Doh!
As far as I know, this was the last four string body kicking around the factory so I suppose it`s quite special (apart from being a great instrument).


Why DID Warwicks stop making Fortresses - they`re great for smaller folks? - did they use too much wood or something?

I wish they still made them they are my favorite Warwick shape.
 
wow that maple neck give a real nice effect with the sun burst finish. congrats mate, great bass.
 
Warwick Australia have some NOS Fortess" available right now & can ship to the USA & Europe from as little as $100AU.These are the last new Fortress basses avaiable anywhere,so once they're gone,that's it.NO MORE!! :cry:
 
When I had mine built, there were a few five string bodies left (although that was last year).
 
I asked them a wile ago if they would be able to build a CS Fortress, they told me that they didn't have any bodys around, but perhaps will make some in future.
 
You can special order a Fortress through the CS these days.But why bother when there's some amazing deals to be had from Dominant.
