here it is guys. You can tell why it was only 500 bucks, it has a lot of nicks and what not, but thats ok, it plays PERFECTLY. Im sure the guy could still have charged more for it, but thats his deal, not mine. Plus, the worn in look is kinda cool. The guy I bought it from was super excited...

I'll open a new topic here since it might be interesting to other people.... There seems to be a number of Fortress bodies currently avialable at the custom shop, what are the caracteristics of those bodies? Wood? Pickup routing? Etc... Thanks!

I just noticed today that the clamp on my nut was broken. This problem has been thoroughly discussed in the warwick section of the forum, but has not been addressed for rockbasses. Does anyone know how difficult changing, or replacing, the nut on the Fortress may be?

Hi! Im buying a new 5-string bass and I have my eyes on the Warwick Rockbass line.. What does the alder vs the swamp ash bodies do to the sound, I understand they use the same active pickups and elektronics. Im looking for good slap,funk, fingerstyle sound and abit of rock.

JUST ASKING. in the contrast, i have One &i think its the best, it may not be gold plated, neck through or ergonomicaly curved like the other models, but its woods is a perfect combination, the best of both worlds(maple body & wenge neck/africa & europe). the awesome sound it produce...

In the warwick specs manual it says that the Fortress Masterman has MEC 2x Active BEC II 2-Band electronics. Does this mean that it has 2 of those electronics inside?
