Thanks guys, well my reference of Fretless Wicks is a Thumb BO 5, a friend of mine have one. It realy sounds great!!! With all that mid lows! And a great mwah sound also. Any chance it will sound close to that? Or maple will sound really diferent? (probably because the pickps position) I found that the Fortress has a lot of mids also, (maybe because the wenge neck, but im not sure). My concern is about the Mwah sound :D

Thanks, oh and forgive my poor english :D

Thumbs are great for fretless basses, they sound like Jaco basses on steroids. It;s the hard woods used, and the pickup position.
The fortress has a different sound, if you like... more similar to a Jazz bass.
