You know you're a bass player if...

You know you're a bass player when you lean towards the TV so your face is 2 inches away from the screen to see a bass players knob settings.

I just did it.

You know your a bass player when your a better looking guy than your singer BUT he still seems to get the chicks!

:)

I once had a delay by train. A guy started to talk to me out of the blue and he turned out to be a bass player. So we had a nice chat waiting for the train to go. When he said in which band he played I immediately told him he had an Eastwood copy of an Ampeg Scroll bass. After that I had to admit I was on my knees in front of my television some weeks before when I saw him play. I hadn't recognized the guy, but I knew all about his bass!

when you know the bass line to a song by ear but not the melody or the lyrics...

guilty of this too... I know no names but a lot of basses :)

You know you are a Warwick bassplayer when you see or play a nice bass from another maker and say, "Wow, this is a nice bass. I wonder would Warwick's version would be like?" (Better)

You know you're a bass player when:

- you for the 384th time had to yell at the geetard player that the song starts in A...
- you for the 651st time had to nod at the gayboard player to indicate da bridge...
- you for the 211th time had to hum da melody because da drumbass can't find da right rhythm...
- you for the 132nd time had to transpose da song because da singer finally found da right tuning that fits his 'precious' vocal cords...
- you for the 538th time had to make a nice compliment to da rhythm geetardist because you know how he feels...

You know you're a bass player... when you realize it's more than just picking and slapping them fat ladiezzzzz....8:

You know you're a bass player if you think that the next string to the G ones is C, not B.

I see that you britains are starting to adjust to the metric system ;)

Ain't metric grand?

Let's hope that my country, America, can get a grip on the metric system. For some reason, America only measures with the metric system with what Americans care about the most: Soda and Hemi engines. Some of us Americans (Not including me) even think that the metric system is confusing and stupid  . The english measuring system is dumb 8:

Anyway..

You know you're a bass player if while you're in a grocery store, you walk by the frozen section and out of the corner of your eye you SWEAR you saw a box of "Bartolini" pasta before realizing it says "Bertoli":!: haha

You know you’re a bass player – If you use your thumb to pound nails instead of a hammer.
