Thumb BO vs corvette std ash (active/active)

anybody here who got both basses and have time to make some soundclips so i can compare them?

if its possible i would like to hear the same groove on both basses, maybe some slap?

i would be glad if someone could help me...
 
I got an ash $$ and a thumb bo.... but the $$ is fretless.....

I could maybe try and knock up some stuff if i get the time. i could just put the $$ in single coil mode to give you an idea.

I recorded clips with both of them, check this links. The vette is passive tho.


 
who else though the vette was a jazz bass?
i did. sounds so different compared to an active vette.
like the passive a lot!
 
It depends on what sound you want. The corvette std ash is fenderish, yes :-)
