I love my Thumb NT 6, it is an incredible instrument in every way, the hand carved neck and tighter spacing make everything effortless, however it's 9.6kg with it's case, it's the old suitcase style one and the case weighs basically nothing, I imagine the bass itself is probably around 6+ kg...

I'm about to buy this bass(corvette std ash) , I've tried it and it just sounds good with a lot of character , no need for onboard preamp and no dead-battery-neurosis-syndrome, you plug it and it sounds ..but I often play live and often do recordings .Do you think this bass could fit into this...
