I just paid $800 for my 99 Corvette, Bubinga body , Wenge neck. I’d say $450 is a good price. It’s heavy (10lb 12oz) but I am loving mine.I'm seeing a 4-string corvette german standard (headstock plate says standard, not "std") Seems ovankol/wenge neck + bubinga body.
It's $450 with gig bag. They've modded the pickups, but will include the originals.
Is this too good of a deal to sleep on? I don't need it, but figure it could be fun and I'm not hurting for cash.
Also, pretty much gonna buy the same thing, but with all original electronics, and a 5-string, but no gigbag/case. at $700, and I know it's a 2003. But I actually want a nice 5-string.
This is USA.. I know that kinda affects the going price.
These seem like solid deals?

Nice looking bass, mate. This is my ‘99 Corvette. I love the tone of this bass. I am thinking of putting Thomastik-Infields on it. Not sure if I want the Powerbass or Flats. Any one have experience with these string on your Corvette.
Thanks Hardy.
Yes it is. 1o lbs 12 oz of that glorious Warwick sound. Is your bubinga Corvette also heavy as heck?
