The Heads Up Thread

+1
I got a few emails from HPW when I asked about equipment, and he was always polite. I doubt this is genuine.

do iiiiittt!!!!

Quick question - Since I have a 5-string Corvette Standard with black hardware would it be interchangeable with the gold hardware on the Stage 1. I am not a huge fan of gold and I know I would have to pick up the correct knobs. I was uncertain about the bridge, etc being compatible.

It should fit on both ias they are 5 strings. I don't think hardware had changed a lot over the years... May be you will miss one dome knob thought... but they are not hard to find around...

Wrong - sorry

The stage 1 is broadneck with a wider bridge. Thembridge will not fit.

oh sorry... I didn't thought about the broadneck... Be sure I didn't wanted to get you wrong... sorry again !!

Nice SS1 5 stringes... love the body wings wood !! Quite expensive but a real nice bass

Went and checked it out. This bass has been dragged through the mud and now I know why its a such a good price. Quite disappointed

P-Nut I on the 'bay. Don't see these very often (I think this is the first one I've personally seen up for sale). Seller claims it's in 9/10/MINT condition, but then says there's some light play wear....but the pictures show some pretty wide spread dings and scratches. Not horrible, but IMO a little high priced given the condition. Still, it's very rare and one of my favorite basses, and I enjoy looking at the pictures!

I've seen the stuff he sells before. He is typically way overpriced. I was looking at PRS guitars a few months ago, and he had some nice ones, but his prices are stupid.

IMHO tha PNUT should be at 2500 in this market if it is used.

Maybe the last chance to get a brand new Pro Series Star Bass II (34", made in Corea) since they have been moved to the Rockbass line, and cheaper, I remember the price was around 1400€ few months ago:

Look a 'brand new' 1984 (made in 2012) Streamer!
....worth €3000??

The story is true and has been confirmed here, but that price.. WOW.

Has it been confirmed that the electronics are OK as it seems to have an earthing issue!

'The "energy" that is felt when you run your fingers across the strings is magical.'
