I had a 92 Streamer Stage II, and it was roughly that colour. Afzelia gets that dark over time, sure.

Bubinga is reddish, afzelia has a yellowish kind of brown when aged. Also the pores are large and yellowish for afzelia. This is afzelia, SS2 was ALWAYS made of afzelia.
 
I'm investing my money in something else that's for sure...
 
A Streamer Stage II 5-string in best condition, built 2008 for 1850,- EUR. That is a fair deal! But only for the buyer, the seller lost 3.000 EUR within 5 years...

Meh you don't really want that one, it's scratched all to hell, and it's the wrong color anyway. You'll appreciate a nice shiny new one more, keep saving up for the one you dream about.
 
I'm about to order a RB Vampyre anyways...it would be years for me to afford a German built

Scrathces yes, but it's £700! I'm tempted myself for that fact alone.
 
No I really have to remember that my dream warwick was always the Dolphin, and it was unbelievable when I got it. I'm sitting here and playing it now, it's fantastic. So if the Vampyre is as much a dream for you I'd want you to have it.
