Still in the process of finding what fits best and in what order-
At this time I have three separate paths selectable with the LS-2 preceded by the Peterson Tuner, Ernie Ball Wah Pedal, Photon Death Compressor, and NS-2 Noise Suppressor, and Vick Audio 73 Ram's Head (Big Muffin clone). Channel A on the top row includes the Ibanez flanger, Boss DD2 delay, and GE-7 EQ for guitar leads. Channel B includes the MXR Phase 90, TC Electronics Chorus/Flanger, and second Boss DD2. If I select Bypass A and B, that leaves just the Flashback Delay, EHX Super Pulsar Tremolo, and Boss RV 5 Reverb on the back end.
Outboard of this is an Ernie Ball stereo volume pedal - wasn't enough room and is heavy-
A few notes- initially I had the NS-2 in Channel A only and looped with the Vick Audio so I could leave the latter on for a dedicated lead channel, but the noise in channel B and bypass modes was unbearable, though Channel A was quite as a mouse. So I ended up looping the NS-2 with the Vick before the line selector. Also would have preferred everything else to be in channel B but I wanted to go into two separate amplifiers to take advantage of the stereo aspects of the Flashback, Super Pulsar, and Reverb unit and looping back to the LS-2 return would have precluded that.
In the end I have three sound options with the bypass as a type of third channel for live performances.
As you see here one output from the last pedal - the RV 5- goes into the Mesa Boogie and the other into the Vox which can go from the speaker out jack into the 12 in Orange cab.
For really small venues like my favorite coffee shop,I may go with this pair of Fender Champion 600's with a reduced pedalboard - you can slide it into 2 x 2 foot configuration if you have less pedals-
So, once I get everything situated and sounding like I like it, I'll velcro everything into place-
Regarding bass effects- I love how my basses sound coming straight out my RH 450 2 x 10 and other resident amps at impromptu jam sessions. I do occasionally use my MXR Bass Chorus/Flanger and will experiment with my Boss synth pedal but I generally prefer to go straight into the amp

As an addendum on bas pedals - thus far the most I have considered for bass are these two items- I did experiment the Boss OC-3 octave pedal but have not like it thus far-
I don't mean to be dismissive of building a more elaborate setup for bass, but for me it's hard to improve on what emanates from a Warwick Thumb NT5 fretless bass!

Regarding the main pedalboard, it just to me that I might ought to put a second noise suppressor at the final output of the line selector to help reduce noise from Line B and bypass modes. Then I can put the original noise suppressor back into Channel A looped with the Vick Audio Ram's Head 73 so I can leave it on all the time in a dedicated lead guitar channel.
I was suprised at how much noise the other pedals generated without a noise suppressor given that the general rule of thumb is that you loop "noisy" pedals like overdrives and distortion with the noise gate while leaving time delay and pitch shifting effects outside the loop-

Didn't think I would use the tremolo live that often so I removed it to make for a second NS-2 which will provide noise reduction for Channel B and bypass modes, Channel A for override having it's own dedicated NS-2. Note the addition of the HM-2 Heavy Metal pedal which I purchased in the late 80's.
I learned something new regarding older pedals like my HM-2 and the ACA adapters they used.
They were designed for a 12 V input which internal circuitry reduced to 9V. So a modern PSA style adapter which puts out 9V will not work well with them. They will sound weak and the LED lights may not even illuminate, if at all!
There are two modern solutions- 1- Use a 12 volt output from a modern power brick or -
2- If you daisy chain the older pedal with a 9V PSA style pedal, it will work as normal. I don't know why that is, but I verified it with my 80's era HM-2 worked when I daisy-chained the 9V
power source with a PSA pedal. Somehow this disables the internal voltage reduction circuitry of the pedal.
So, don't use an older ACA power adapter with a newer PSA pedal, you might fry it with the ACA's 12 V output!
Regarding my tuner, I decided to plug in at the Radial Headlight amp/soundboard selector to give more room and allow more room on the pedalboard fixture. Also external on the output side will be the Ernie Ball Stereo volume pedal for boost and pan options-

I've been trying a lot out lately but next weekend I will finally assemble this thing after a lot of research and trying different pedal orders, when it will be done the final "real" pictures will follow.
Base is a Mono Rail "Small" Pedalboard (this thing is still big, I mean there is also a medium and large
). Powered by a Cioks DC 7 (nice, small and flexible power supply).
Order is from Tuner to the left and then top also right to the left.

How do you like your Grape Phaser? I've been thinking of purchasing a more versatile alternative to my old style MXR Phase 90 (which is so old-school that I had to get a special 9V battery adapter cable for my power brick). I have been scoping out some more modern phasers- considering the Source Audio Lunar Phaser for its versatility- or maybe EHX Nano, or the Walrus Audio Lillian Analog phaser-
Any suggestions?

@ectoflanger I find the Grape Phaser is a great Phaser for Bass, I like the simple controls and foremost the sound, it's a 4 Stage Phaser. I was thinking about the new available Behringer BM13 (Moogerfooger MF-103 clone) which is a 12 Stage Phaser (!) but is way too big for my board, so I looked again and was very happy with the Grape Phaser after testing it. You just got the "rate" which controls of course the speed and then the "color" knob is very nice. It controls how much of the original signal gets fed back through the phase shifting circuit which results in very useable tones for me, if you crank it up it nearly sounds like an envelope filter.

I know you see 2 of the Warm Audio Mutation Phasors... the reason... well, the Mu-Tron style of pjhase has always been my faves, and I have owned back in the day 2 of those pedals, and also a Mu-Tron Bi-Phase... It was 2 of the Mutron Phasor II's in one big pedal cabinet... well... I can do a Bi-Phase since I have 2 of thse Warm Audio re-issues of the Mu-Tron pedals... so instead of buying one when they came out, I grabbed two... so I could recreate the Bi-Phase dual phaser sound... and it works... the best way to picture it is to say you can have 2 different Mu-Tron types swishes, both with different speeds and feedback settings...
There are a lot of pedals here, and this is what I call my "Mad Scientist" borda... it isn't practical as a gigging thing to lug around. But I have it setup to do just that... be a scientist. There are so many new to me pedals on here that each one could be taken off and studied on its own.
The reason I have an A and a B line is better seen in a short phrase... written a bit more plainly as we read from left to right in the West...

This is all powered by a new Fender Engine Room Level 12 PSU, it has 12 x 500mA outputs. I have an extensive spreadsheet with every pedal's mA of current draw. I have 3 boards being used, and each one has some type of daisy chain, or if the pedal needs enough juice, I have some that have their very own output. Plus, I have a couple outlets to share. This power supply ios a beast. And quiet... Made me check my old Voodoo Labs PedalPower 2 Plus, which is pretty out-dated these days, lagging behind the power curve only offering 100mA per outlet.
