Finally finished redoing my board bigger and evolved. Added are some pretty big changes the first being Changing to a Temple Audio Trio 28 Board..This thing is huge and I think some of my pedals make it look small lol. I cant see me getting bigger I still have some swap room on this one. Second biggest change is the way i deal with the signal.
1. The Compressor and Lebass are first in line then it runs down to the KMA tyler which splits the highs out.
2. The highs are then sent to an ML5 loop switcher under the board where i can midi select my loops. I did this so that the bass was always clean and the only effect it receives is compression and warmth from the Lebass.
3. I have the Idiotbox Effects Landphil and the Kinnatone modded Rat in a loop with EQ2 to tame the rats and it is midi controlled so can be used in that loop without the Rats on.
4. Alpha Omega Ultra is in a loop and is still a major part of my tone always
5. The lunar phaser is a Loop and is midi controlled and can be used for in loop modulation (phaser, flange, chorus) and is awesome
6. The black rat by Mosky is also in a loop and is at the moment a bit of a more driven fuzz pedal..It wont last but it fits nicely so it can stay
7. The H9 and the Nemesis are sent to the effects loop of my amp via 4 cable method and the expression is hooked to H9 as this just works and is easy as using the expression for other things hasnt been needed.
8. My amp is also controlled my midi (Darkglass Microtubes v2) which is super handy.

The Morningstar MC6 controls it all with ease and the 3 button extension is a critical part of the setup. I still need to do alot more to program in the EQ2 as that pedal has a million uses including LPF and noise gate which means it needs to basically be porogrammed to every single midi change and that takes time to do lol. I also have a wild idea of using the EQ2 with different eq's based on which bass I am using. Programming my midi to work with which bass rather than what i am playing which is a wild idea but again shows the infinite depth of midi programming.

Anyway this board is big, powerful and complicated to setup but the more time it becomes better and better with each hour spent on it. I hate tap dancing with an absolute passion as i have a size 14 foot and my feet like to stay on the ground holding me up lol so putting the effort into midi means 1 tap does what i need so so easily.

The Tyler is another huge success for me as being able to keep that solid wall of clean bass is really great. It also means that everything is cleaner, less muddiness in the low mids and more definition. The other cool thing is how crazy you can get with driving the top end without having to compromise on a distorted bass.

Anyway I have gone to far with this board and I know i dont have all the answers and my way is the best but it was great fun to build and theorise and the results please me daily so that is all that counts!
 
That board setup is sick. TBH I can't see myself using such a complex pedalboard. Guess I'm a rather simple mind even though I like pedals and layers of sounds.

PS. You should record a "rundown" video of your tone machine

I wasn‘t really into effects, just used the Zoom B3 for some special situations.
Then I got myself two nice Darkglass pedals, the Hyper Luminal compressor and the Vintage Microtubes overdrive.
The latest stage is this pedalboard, that I got in this configuration via ebay. I will probably change the Metal Core against the VMT (I am not that metal core...), and the Mooer Noise Killer against the compressor (should not be required without the Metal Core).
I hope I can keep further PAS under control

Quite some changes over the last months:
- MetalCore was replaced by ODB-3 bass overdrive
- Hartke Bass Attack 2 preamp was replaced by Darkglass B7K Ultra V2
- The Drop and Noise Killer had to make room for the Darkglass Vintage Microtubes and the Hyper Luminal compressor

yep I'm an EH fanboy hahaha. this feeds my sansamp PSA 1 rack through the sansamp effects loop. the rack and board are geared towards retaining a tube sound as best I can without the expensive high power tube amp. this setup goes to a QSC rack amp running 600 watts @4ohms and into avatar cabs 2x12 and 2x10...

Next update: the Darkglass B7K didn‘t work reliably with the small daisy-chained power supply, and the wooden board wouldn‘t hold a real power block. So I had to move all the pedals to a Pedaltrain Jr with Palmer PWT 08 power supply. As a side effect, there is some new,room for more pedals

I used to have trouble with chord progressions until I started arranging my pedals according to the principles of feng shui. It really does create good harmony! :p
 
Its been a while. Isn't this the cleanest dirty board ever?

The cheap Thomann powersupply has started acting up, pedals switching off and on quickly at times. We can't have that.
Soooo the VoodooLab ISO5 is back in business.
 
If you had more room i would've slapped a chorus on it just to finish it off
 
I have a love/hate thing with chorus pedals. Gave away my early nineties small clone pedal.

Cool board! Tell me more, please, about ho do you use that Boss LS-2.

BTW, I've this idea of grabbing a second hand Digitech Bass Synth Wah for some time now, but people sell them for very big money (I saw one in eBay for $350 o_O). I believe street price back in the day before Digitech discontinued them was less than $50.
