Yes....but I when I bought it I was playing with only a drummer. So it was my way to get my bass to sound a little more on the treble side (like a guitar)

New minimalistic approach. Tuner, Comp, Fuzz+Sub oct, Overdrive.
Fits right at the bottom of my mic stand. Nice and small.

I do not need more for the songs we currently play. Zeus for Muse songs, Microtubes for all other dirt (Marilyn Manson, NiN, Beasties, RHCP etc.)
Yes we play covers right now. It is fun for now and I learn how to sing+play bass at the same time. Sometimes this is hard to do. Learning this is awesome and the next step for me.

Deluxe version for the same songs, with a bit of Pigtronix BEP for Muse - Plugin Baby to get that synthy tone.
New pedal which arrived today is the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret. It emulates the ballsy tube overdrive of a Marshall Superbass 100 amplifier. So far it is doing an awesome job with the passive basses I have but doesn't seem fit for the more modern sounding active Zon basses. I might post a comparison review between this and the Darkglass VMT soonish...

The MXR 10band EQ replaces the DG B7K Ultra because I want to cut any sub-lows (30-40hz and lower) and the overdrive on the B7K blows for what I do.

Yes it is, but the problem occurs sometimes only. When you kick in one of its switches theres always a very loud pop, and sometimes it starts generating garbage noise instead of the bass signal.

I've been looking for a compressor, but didn't want to spend a lot. As of now I never felt I needed one.....well see how that goes

So I stopped by Sam Ash on the way home and tried the Spectra Comp, the Pigtronix and the little Hotone. Unfortunately they didn't have a MXR

The Spectra has one knob ,so not much EQ and it was a little noisy. The Pigtronix was ok, it also had a Grit switch that brought some fuzz. But I don't really need fuzz since I have my Pickle.

So then came the Hotone, and man this little thing is bad ass. The transparency was almost perfect, very little loss of low end, it has this little Spark button which adds a super clarity boost type sound and it was on sale for $59.00.....it's to small to hold a battery, but I can live with that.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this little dude......here's a pic

It sounds REALLY tight combined with the MXR octaver.

Said goodbye to the Redwitch Zeus, which broke down on me. No more Red Witch pedals for this guy.
The current board has ZERO humming or hissing going on. #AWESOMES

My brother has been rocking a Red Witch fuzz for 3 or 4 years and he's VERY happy with it. Maybe yours had faulty truss-rod.
