Its giving the old Mutron III sounds and is great when I don't want to use the bass wah pedal; I can get really fine adjustment over the filter sweep and with the wet adjustment on the amp effects loop I get a lovely blend; really great sound for some of our funk and dance

Added: RedWitch ZEUS octaver/fuzz. Removed: Darkglass B7K Ultra, Aguilar TLC compressor.

And this little stack sits behind the amp, in the fxloop:

The little bronze thingie is a Fredenstein V.A.S. compressor which allows sidechaining and comping. It compresses the sound coming out of the amplifier's pre section thus includes the amp's EQ settings. This compressor is an upgrade from the Darkglass SuperSymmetry and Aguilar TLC. It is completely neutral.

Because I don't want the compressor to mainly respond to the low end, the EQ on the amp is set pretty much neutral and is only used for little tweaks rather then sculpting the tone in a broad sense. For boosting the low end, cutting the mids a very little and removing the sub-lows (31hz and lower) I use the MXR ten band EQ. As the compressor raises the signal level by quite a bit I use the gain and volume controls on the MXR EQ to lower it back to its normal level.

The difference I notice between earlier configurations and this current one is now ALL my basses sound really good with the same EQ settings on the amp where before I constantly had to tweak the EQ and pre-shape settings when switching instruments.

Because the EQ and compressor are always on they will sit behind the bass stack on stage rather then on the fxboard.

Cutting the sub-lows means the stack is not as sensitive to room acoustics and can be used a lot louder without the 12" cones breaking up or the neighbours complaining.
The Redwitch fuzz is out of this world. Sounds REALLY awesome. When combining the octaver and fuzz the stack sounds like its broken. Lovely!
 
I just picked up a Wounded Paw expression / blender pedal

This thing is pretty cool. I just picked it up yesterday and tried it out with a flanger.

Its pretty cool to be able to bleed in and out the "jet sound".....I'll get something recorded later and get it posted

I just picked this up for $55.00 (includes shipping). I don't know how its going to sound, but I'm going to keep it just because it looks so cool !!

Well since the comp will probably always be on, you might as well stick it with the amp and leave room on the board for stompboxes you actually operate in between or during songs, no?

I finally just got this today. I haven't had much time to dial it in, but to start off with, it does have some good bottom end.

But this is not "Pedal Board" friendly, it's a big dude, and weighs as much as much as a Wah. For reference here's a pic with some other pedals

Power supply is off the board, the Zeus fuzz did not like to be near it.
I used to have two Thomann powersupplies but the B7K acted up on those and the Nemesis delay had a 50hz hum going on because of those. Everything is now powered by a T-Rex Fuel-Tank and all is fine.

Good PSU ... Vewwy impotent!

Totally. Either way, keep it there even if it's unplugged. Anything with an old school vu meter = badass.

I don't use or have any real interest in other stomp boxs so I'm fine with the size of this. Its still a compact little board which does everything I need.

I'm not big on effects.

That´s a very cool board, Marco. TBH I´ve been wanting a Bass Envelope Phaser for some time.
 
Here's my new set up.....it will inevitably change......but I'm really happy with this so far.

The little guy at the end is my Hotone Looper :)
