I have a little Vox AC4TV I bought quite some time ago- it's like a Marshall mini with it's EL84 power tube and 10 inch Celestion - No bells or whistles but it crunches. Once went from the speaker out into a Marshall 4 x 12 and it stood up to be counted (albeit via an attenuator)I was looking for a sweet practice amp that isn't hardrock or metal oriented. Between Fenders and some other 'smaller' tube amps (it still weighs over 20kg) this one sounds more open and lush. Fender Blues Jr. sounds boxy and flat in comparison. Fender Bassbreaker has a HORRIBLE digital delay that never ends but the amp itself sounds quite nice, too. I got a nice black friday deal on the Vox which made me pull the trigger - normally it is a lot higher priced then the other two amps I mentioned.
Very good stands , I have 2 x 7 and the 5 I've tucked awayNew basses need more space!
