Not sure, but not 750w that's for sure. built in presets and tuner make this a neat portable rig head.

I got one of them back in 2017 with matching cab-- I suppose you'll use it with your new Trace Elliot cabs?
That's the plan. I was playing around with the Elf amp earlier today through the Barefaced Big Twin II and found that when I need any serious soundlevels I will have to increase the gain to a point where its built-in compressor just squeezes too much of the signal to get an open sound. You can't increase the gain on the Elf without increasing compression in the process. I then decided to add a more powerful small amp to the mix.

Given the fact I will use this small rig mainly in non-gig situations but rather when practicing elsewhere then our own shack or jamming with friends in smaller settings I reckoned having an amp with built in compressor, overdrive and tuner would be the smart thing to do. The TC amps are just that. The TC will also be the backup of the backup and the Elf will become the backup of the backup of the backup. :p

Actually I got the RH450. They look similar at a quick glance. And I got the RS210 cab to go with it, both at a really good deal at eBay.

Marco! Stop, I’m getting tempted...

On second thought— don’t, and kerp up the good work...

Will keep you guys informed!

I have owned the Tech21 DP-3X before for a bi-amp tone but that kinda smashed my bass tone (they all sounded alike through this pedal) so I sold that briefly after getting it. I also couldn't get along with its really small size. It felt like a toy eventho its sound was MASSIVE.

Been trying to obtain a good bi-amp tone in the meantime using the YYZ pedal and a Two Notes Le Bass pre in "cold fusion" mode with all the lows dialed out of the dirty channel. Both do a pretty nice job but the YYZ isn't ballsy enough and the Le Bass only has one "cab sim" on its D.I. output which in reality is a simple low pass filter.

The BB with its two separate D.I. outputs each with its own cabsim seems pretty much ideal for me, and I can also leave home my compressor pedal when using it. Seems like a winner. Let's hope so!

Okay, it has been a LONG time since I've had a Warwick, but I have an Alien incoming.

I had one about a decade ago (not the original Lakewood ones, but still...) and it's one of my only bass sale regrets. A decade plus of regret. Drama!

I almost went in on one of the RB models, but emailed the US Warwick distributor and scored a killer deal on a "Showroom Stock" fretted 4 string. They should have at least two more if anyone is looking for one! FYI...

Anyway, here is a generic picture that we've all seen before. Mine will be either from 2010 or 2012 depending on which one is in better condition. Not that it matters though!

Funny how things work out in the end.
