Yep. But it's mostly because blue is my favorite color, and I think yellow always matches blue well, gold hardware is a must for me on blue basses.

I hear ya - that's why I love my SSI so much with it blue stain over AAA flame and a high polish finish, and I even ordered new gold hardware since the old hardware faded. I've always wanted shiny gold on a high polish blue. Once the new hardware arrives, I'll post new pics.

Same as the NY State colors, altho I think ours is actually refered to as
blue and gold, not yellow [not kidding]. This gave them the excuse to do
the NY Trooper cars in navy blue, almost black, with highly reflective gold
markings. They looked so much better when they were medium blue and
yellow-gold [more or less like a Swedish flag].

No, but seriously, I'm planning on a trip to NYC this summer, I'm getting a big tax refund, and I'm itching to buy a bass when I'm there.

Can you recommend any stores golem? Preferably a store with lots of Warwicks, and other high-end stuff, like Sadowsky, Roscoe, Zon, Modulus etc. A friend just returned from NYC, and apparently he had no problem bringing a guitar in a harcase on the flight home.
