My Warwick has green stuff inbetween the grain on the fingerboard. The fingerboard is Wenge by the way. I've seen quite a few Warwicks with this, it doesn't affect playability and you have to look closely, but it's kind of ugly and disturbs me, lol.

if a twin j pickup is used, is there a way using 3 way MEC electronics to coil tap it? also, does the coil tapped twin j (i'm pretty sure that means the coils are reduced to the number of a single j) sound inferior to a true single j? also, how is pickup mix/isolation achieved on warwick basses...
