History of the Vampyre and some triva stuff

so far, from what i picked up in the forums:

1.) the vampyre shape was designed by a german guy who won the warwick design contest (year and name of the guy)?

2.) the vampyre SN has recently been discontinued (when?)

3.) ryan martinie posed for the promo poster, but was never seen using it.

4.) seth horan is the most popular vampyre user to date (agree?)

5.) the vampyre LTD was a weird LTD ... because it wasnt an official 2003 LTD (i think that year was the year of the Bleached Blonde Thumb).

trivia: I have a fullsize of that Ryan MArtinie poster framed and hanging on my wall :D
 
The SN was discontinued this year, but can still be ordered through the Custom shop, as is the infinity SN and the Dolphin SN...
 
I don't really think seth horan is the most famous Vampyre user (sorry), but I think it would be like Nightwish bassist.

I'd never heard of Nightwish before coming here, then I'd never heard of Seth either. :D

Though flipper I will add: someone set us up the bomb.

the only reason why i said that was because when you type vampyre in youtube you will only see Seth Horan playng the bass decently (i show up there too, but i dont do the darklord any justice with my clips there, haha)
 
Yeah, but many famous players cannot be found through youtube with the bass they are playing...

if you look for Buzzard or Buzzard Bass or Warwick Buzzard, you don't get any videos of John Entwistle, for instance...

yeah, but its different with a buzzard since JE actually has his name mentioned along with it most of the time, hehe.

i admit too that finding ppl playing with a buzzard is hard to find in youtube.

Are you the one with the man-boob bouncing around behind the Dark Lord? :oops: If so, not a bad job, just horrible sound quality (and too many burgers). :twisted:

yeah thats me... ive lost some of the man-boob now cause im back to kung fu training (ok, martial arts... not specifically kung fu)...

again ... im not particularly proud of that, it needs a lot of work and that clip is 5 months or so old ...

if you send me money, ill upload a clip of me playing the darklord while doing a vertical split *lol* just kidding, aight? i can really do a vertical split though... which has no aesthetic and musical value *lol*
