I have been looking around for a 5 string bass and happened upon a Corvette Standard with active electronics. I can pick it up for $800 American. Does anyone have an experience with model? Any wisdom they can impart upon me? Thanks, Tom

checking out streamers on evilbay when I saw this 2 pup standard..£700 :shock: .iirc that is more than the standards ever were brand new...below it are 2 stage I's 50 quid cheaper..mebe the seller doesnt know these things and honestly thinks its worth 700.i dont know checked completed...

Can anyone tell me whether the 3 piece neck on the Corvette$$ - (the one with the 2 MM-stylee pickups) - has a different profile to the single piece neck on the Corvette standard? If it is different how would you describe it - e.g. like a J bass / P-bass / Rickenbacker etc?? I've found plenty...
