So I've come up with an idea to help anyone who has a question about a certain basses sound and how it compares to another. To help with the idea I'm going to setup these polls that have a scale from 1 to 5. 1 being a hi-fi sound and 5 being a traditional sound. I know you can get a hi-fi or...
Are there any comfort issues with the FNA Jazzman as compared to a corvette std. since it doesn't have the cut where your arm rests?
I know this came up in another topic, but I'm about to upgrade to a FNA Jazz and I don't want to miss my vette because of comfort.
Well, now comes the time that I want to upgrade from my vette std.
I know for sure I want a open pole humbucker (or a twin jazz)... but I don't know if I want a $$ or a Jazzman.
The FNA Jazz is swamp ash with a maple cap whereas the $$ is a big chunk of ash. Does the maple cap add any zing...
Does any one own a FNA Jazzman LTD 2002, I saw this bass in the Internet and I got interested on it, but I would like to hear any comments on this bass.
I've owned this FNA Jazzman for a fair while:
It's a very beautiful bass in mint condition as you can see.
Now I consider myself pretty good at setting up normal basses, neck relief, action, intonation etc. but I've always struggled with fretless basses for some reason. Oh I can get it...
I am still waiting for my new used Bass (Corvette FNA LTD 2004) to arrive at my door. I was doing some research on the Maintenance on the Warwick basses and I know that it should be wax, but and I found out this statement “Unlike most other Warwick basses with natural wood finishes, this bass...
I love paying my bass but I'm clueless when it comes to audio-electrical lingo. Can anyone give me a good explanation of what exactly the 3-way switch does? That is, in terms of the sound itself, not in terms of the signal path? Thanks guy
I am not thrilled about the sound I have been getting from the Vette FNA Jazzman 5. Should I change out the pickups and pre-amp or convert the whole bass to a $$?
Hi guys, was just wanting your opinions on something - I've always gassed for an FNA Jazzman 4 string but am a bit concerned by their lack of popularity (don't see many forum members with them atall) - are they good basses? how come they don't seem very popular? :D

Having found an affordable big old fretted 5, I'm gonna let all you all convince me why it should become a member of Clan...
Many nice Basses here!!! :)
Now I have to show you my newest one, bought it yesterday because of a GAS-attack
A FNA Jazzman in all black. It´s from 2005, but totally new, never played... got it for only 1200 Euro, I think that´s really a good price!!!
Here the pic´s:
I don't know if its just me that don't know what the heck I am doin' and I shouldn't even be allowed to have an awesome piece of wood like my Corvette FNA Jazzman 5 or The MEC P/Us and Preamp sux.
I would love to hear some of you fellow Corvette Jazzman owners lay down some cool tones with...
look what is going to be sold in a few days on german ebay:
a green corvette FNA from 2000
it looks nice.
and since i had one of those before, i can tell that these really are nice basses !
Just wondering the differences, if any. I know the FNA has an active preamp while the Taranis is passive. Any real difference in sound, to those who have played them, or electronics?
Sorry if this has already been posted, could not locate - are there any hard cases from SKB, TKL, Gator, Coffin or Warwick (beside the Rockcase) that can fit a 2001 Corvette FNA? If so, model/style?
Thanks!
Hello,
I'm considering selling my used FNA Jazzman (4 string) and I was wondering if any of you know what would be a fair price for it. The serial says it was made in '99 and I bought it in 2000. It has one small nick through the finish (the size of a grain of rice) on the horn and a handful...
