Corvette FNA hard case?

Sorry if this has already been posted, could not locate - are there any hard cases from SKB, TKL, Gator, Coffin or Warwick (beside the Rockcase) that can fit a 2001 Corvette FNA? If so, model/style?

I'd check out Gator, SKB are great, but all their bass cases seem to be made for Precisions and their clones these days.

I got a flightcase by Warwick and it is prety big with a lot of room and 2 spongy add ons to custom fit your bass. HSould use one of these with no rpoblem. (it is heavy and big but it is well worth it to put the precious Wics in there.

I have several of the Warwick flight cases and my FNA's work good in them but you need to put some old T shirts or rags in there to help keep it from shifting around in there (especially in the back of a truck or so on). The FNA's also fit in my Molded Warwick cases as wall as in an old SKB I have (but that 1 needs some rags to sure it up also).

The Warwick molded case fits best, then the Flight, then the SKB...

All work fine though... never had trouble with any of these

The lockable latches came to an end in 07 coz some customers reported their latches being sheared off or damaged.All RC's prior to that are lockable.The bit the padlock looped through stuck out slightly compared to the rest of the case.Last I heard a flush mounted lockable latch was in the works.When that's released is anyone's guess.

I figured they were lockable at some time, since the buggerfly part still has a slot, but nothing for it to go over. Though in these days I'm not sure what benefit lockable gives you. Docs I work with all say you should NEVER lock your baggage when flying, cause they'll definitely bust it open. It may be worse here in NA, but I'll bet that phenomenon is spreading. At least the Warwick buggerlugs latches are less likely to get accidently knocked open, and have your pride and joy go skating across the floor.

Regular Gator-hardcases take my Vampyre, so I assume they`ll fit you FNA as well.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd just tag onto this topic. What case can I use for my Warwick Thumb BO 6? I've seen references to the Warwick RC 10830 but the only vendors seem to be in UK / Europe. Are there any case retailers in Canada or US? Are there any generic manufacturers that sell a comparable product?

I was converted to not locking by my old boss who stated very nicely: "Keys are easy to lose and you'll have to bust your case open to get your guitar, and anyway anyone willing to steal your bass will steal the case with it."
