Warwick at youtube!!

Its a Synth Axe Drumitar. Its bassically alot of touch sensitive midi pads that reaact differntly depending on each hit of the fingers amount of strength or lack of, and can be programmed to produce differnt sounds. The fellow playing it recorded himself playing drums in every possible way and applied every sound he could make on a drum set onto this device. So its his drum kit on a guitar-sitar body. The great advantage is that the user has 8 drumsticks (8 fingers) instead of 2.

I checked that out dude. Both guit players seem to be sustain freaks, and concern more about sound than athletics, neat stuff!

Glad you liked it:

one thing I like about getting older is to discover more and more similarities between, in this case guitarists, two seemingly different entities/people................I appreciate more and more every day. :wink:

fusion of weird electric music with jazz.................that becomes more "comprehensible"............and then it becomes all weird again..............or something like that............... :idea:

Im saving up for ethier a custom shop Warwick or a Fodera Emperor II.
Im gonna visit the factory when I get to NYC and see if I like them better than Warwick. I wish they bell brass frets and JAN's...
 
You can't be the official Corvette proline promoter then if buy a Fodera, jk :lol: NICE video BTW

Agree with what you say about getting older. I find myself listening to different styles with a more open mind. Not necessarily liking everything, but appreciating it.

That vid is really cool. Look at 08:08 into the vid. Viktor is slamming that Fodera neck in the floor. I bet that and the snapped G-string was not part of the show.

i quite liked the pop sound, but the thumb slaps were amazing, guess a little more treble and those pops would be just as great.

Yeah, Wooten references that particular show alot in his clinics to emphasise (i can't spell) being able to improvise and make the best out of things.
