Another talented man, but this one playing Victor Wooten's «U can't hold no groove» in a Warwick too!

Cheers..

Got to give the wooten guy some props. Thats a tricky piece to play well and he is pretty much on it.

The other dude is crazy but not so much my cup of tea.

+1 that other guy was good but what he was playing didn't sound too good IMO

I wish I could play like that Japanese guy, those triplets are sick. And all the Sweep-plucking makes me hard in the pants.

the only way I know how to download youtube clips is to use firefox and use the videodownloader plugin. you have to get a program called FLVPlayer to view the downloads, but it works great. gwww.mozilla.org for firefox and the plugin. google it for the FLV player

The cat doing the Vic tune deserves serious kudos; that was really great. He's studying how to use advanced techniques in a way that makes musical sense, explores his instrument, and provides an enjoyable listen.

The other video falls into a separate category, though. If it wasn't edited together like that, I'd be bored to tears. What a wanker. How many times is he going to do that "1-2-4 hammer-on" riff up the strings? And I wonder what would happen if he had to play to a BEAT? Snoooooooooze.... somebody buy this guy a metronome.

HELP!!!

how can I download such clips fro youtube???

There's a good software for that, it's called VideoGet. It's simple to use, all you have to do is to paste the url from the page and click download.
Cheers

No doubt he was a guitarist.. search guitar shedding on youtube and you get abunch of people playing all same notes real fast. :P Quite amusing.

The corvetted japanese was a guitarist, bit frustrated IMHO.

The guy playing the Victor Wooten song?I thought he rocked.

The Wooten guy is good the other is not. Daniele was talking about the other guy

It's always funny hearing that a good bassist needs to be as fast as a guitarist.
I believe that the guy plucking with all his five fingers ignores every principle of armony.
And the function of the bass itself.
