i have heard of that kind of repair being done but never seen a pic before, it looks great. that carbon fibre cloth comes in strips that are very thin, i recon a whole body covered with that, partially sanded back to reveal the wood between the fiber and clear coated would look AWESOME

Here's a shot of the neck. To the touch you really can't feel the repair.

As for gigs... but gigs are coming in all the time, so check back from time to time.
