The Heads Up Thread

I'll tell ya if I win the auction. :-)
(Which I'm not going to since I'm an horrible cheapstake).

This guy's up for sale again, reasonable price and worldwide shipping. Why won't anyone bid?

LOL. I see that bass for sale every couple months. What the hell?

Is it always the same seller?

I'm pretty sure. I've kept it in my watch list and it never seems to sell.

I've seen many people bid on that LX then reach the end. Then pop up again. I recon he is getting all his mates or his other accounts in a bid to boost up the price of the auction. When it dosent, re list. That's my 2cents.

Looks like it finally sold.

:X

This bass is NICE. ZERO buckle rash, hardware needs a slight bit of polishing with a cloth, but nothing major. The pots feel like new with snappy center detents.

JAN-II has both posts intact. How often do you see that? Not a ding or mark anywhere on it. This is the most pristine used Warwick I've ever bought.

Post pictures of the bass when it arrives!
Why in the world would I post something I'm bidding on in the heads up thread?

"Hey guys! I'm bidding on this! Wanna run up the price?"

Anyway, very nice pull with the LX - is that a factory finish? (serial number lookup will tell)

I'm with you there. Although I think we're all tight enough on this forum to not screw each other over, guests have access and could easily try to be assholes.

I'm happy with the LX so far. Serial number shows not found. Probably a website problem.

thefitz has my address.

I wonder how long until he shows up at my house due to a forum spat and pees on my car.

1990 8-String Streamer Custom. For sale here in the for sale thread here:

but thought to post this ebay link here as well.

Nice buy man!!! :)

This Jazzman is listed as new but I ran the serial number and it shows it is a 2005.
Is this still a decent price? I am jonesing for a Jazzman, but I am also not sure if the 2005 had the thicker neck profile like my 2006 Katana.

I would not call that new, nor would I call that a decent price. I'd say it's $200-$300 too high, so it's not insultingly high, but it's by no means a bargain.

If it means anything, I believe that bass should have the same or similar neck profile to your Katana. I have an 05 Vampyre and the neck is a tree trunk. Like it should be.

New old stock 5 string FNA Jazzman from 05 just sold for $967. You may be able to offer him less and use that as ammo.

As thefitz said, 05 will have a fat neck.

Thanks guys, don't seem to be many Jazzman available, only other one I saw was a 2002 for $1800

This is the 5th time he has listed that and he hasn't dropped the price at all.

Would've sold you mine 2 months ago for a very reasonable price, but it's already gone!
