The Heads Up Thread

Maby the reason is the year of production, I believe the bass is all OK but I am not sure.

Strange. It is a Streamer "Bolt on" model, the former "LX", but on the truss rod cover it´s only written "Streamer" for the NT version.
Maybe that was just the cover available at production time... or it was replaced later.

USD 3.000 for a non original, cracked bass. IS it wayyyy too expensive, or me being a douche ?

My thoughts exactly.. even half of it would be too much in my opinion

Some people don't "understand" the used market. Everyone thinks they're special.

Or, they're just clueless. For example, a few months back a dude was selling a mint condition Thumb NT for $500 less than the new price. His rationale was that since his bass was "basically new", he'd offer a slight discount on the new price.

Certainly, PU and bridge refillings, crack, electronics replaced... a bit too much "mojo".

Still interesting example for the body wood there.

Some kind of CS Fortress, unique inlays:

This guy's up for sale again, reasonable price and worldwide shipping. Why won't anyone bid?

I've seen many people bid on that LX then reach the end. Then pop up again. I recon he is getting all his mates or his other accounts in a bid to boost up the price of the auction. When it dosent, re list. That's my 2cents.

INFINETTE ALERT:

I'm not sure what a fair price is on that, even though that seems high. Worldwide shipping.
