The Heads Up Thread

INFINETTE ALERT:

I'm not sure what a fair price is on that, even though that seems high. Worldwide shipping.

Nice!

Price is o.k. imo, especially because it is a rare chance, ofc not a bargain. But there is the "make an offer" option!

Indeed, it seemed "about right" but sometimes "about right" doesn't sell.

Making an offer is there, but I doubt he'll go lower than like $1800. It's kind of annoying when they barely budge.

Well, that's higher than what i paid for a Dolphin. Seems to me it's a bit too high. But with import charges, taxes and so on, I won't be able to make an offer.
1500€ seems to be a good deal for me, but that's 1700USD and without shipping and taxes...
Well...
Me no likey Corvettes anyway.
(well, except this one)

Right, EUR is weak againt the $ atm. 1.500,- EUR would mean 2.000,- EUR total costs. More interesting for our friends on the other side of dat big lake.

$554 Import charges on top of the sale price and shipping... that is to the UK so unsure about other parts Europe/Worldwide! :(

Still, best offer. He may take less... Although would probably need to be 600 dollars or so less to make it a good deal...

Just noticed a Bleach Blonde for sale yesterday on ebay - Buy It Now of 1200 from New Jersey - Then today its gone and other Bleach Blonde for 1400 Buy It Now from New York - Seems kinda peculiar

A ridiculously priced refretted Corvette from possibly the worst instrument seller on eBay:

A real Pro1.

Very nice. A lot of people seem to think the TCS Dolphins and Infinities are priced towards the NT instruments since they say "Dolphin" and "Infinity" on the headstock (I find it funny that all three SN models had the exact same electronics in the exact same spot).

I digress.

When I saw this, I literally said "oh no...."

Streamer Stage 1, Nordy Big Splits, satin hardware, reasonable-ish price, worldwide shipping....

To be honest, I do think the Dolphins are much more beutiful with a set or Bolt-On neck. Hence my love for the white 5-stringer that is on basschat (and here).

Yes, but the way it blends in the body is different. The smooth transition of the NT mankes the 'horns" recurve up the neck, and the SN and BO have a more "straight" body.
You can see it in this pic :

Also, at least for the BO, the upper horn is a bit longer and is has a slimmer "ass" so to speak.

By 'not the best' you mean 'the best' right? ;)
I don't think knots are very appealing to be honest...
