The Heads Up Thread

I think I owned the bass before
price is basically double what I was able to get for the bass after trying to sell for 1 year
but it was in a much better condition then:)

That James Earl sig has been for sale on bass chat for the last month or so. It's a very nice 8:

This is from their Terms and conditions page here

"Orders that are outside the EU zone are exempt from UK VAT at 20%, (second hand items have no VAT that can be deducted) Items purchased by customers inside the EU zone do not have top pay any further duties or taxes on their purchase."

Yeah but I happen to travel to the UK. I would pick up in person and try to get VAT back at the airport.

Well, not gonna happen anyway. Just fantasizing...

Great deal on a Corvette $$ NT 5-string, I'd even consider it if I didn't have one already:

Beautiful Thumb CS model made in Germany with a price made on Mars:

Here's a Spector bass that must come with a free bag of crack:

(Does he not know Spector IS a custom shop?)

Thats for sale in the Warwick Custom Shop now in TN. I believe I played that one when it was located in the previous NYC location.

My old Jazzman for sale up AGAIN!
Sold 5 times in 6 months now. Now with black hardware, looks a bit better.

I have a bit of a soft spot for that 2006 ltd ed. Mainly because of the p pup and i'd like a precision-ish voiced warwick. That ones a bit pricey though.

Buddy's auction ended at over $2k, reserve not met. Relisted as this:

Good luck.

Thats just how the prices are right now.
Blame Warwick for making their new German models twice (or thrice) as expensive as before.
Is that true though? I remember someone posting an add from 1994 or something saying "look how low the list prices were"... which, adjusted for inflation, weren't that much cheaper than the ones now.
