There are a few videos on the Tube in which P Nut can be seen playing his first signature model, plus this one :

which is a good (but short) demonstration of the tone capabilities of the PN I IMHO.
By the way, I will hopefully have some covers uploaded (plus a live recording if I am lucky enough to get my hands on it) on Youtube by the end of the year, so you should have several occasions to hear a PN I through a Hellborg Rig (or at least a Hellborg premap) ;)

I saw that one. Good slap demo but i'm a fingerstyle kind of guy. The Pnut videos I've seen are not clear, sound wise. I like 311, but oddly, they, nor P nut have anything to do with why I chose this bass;). Plus, with all the different strings, set ups, pedals and amps, the true test is when it gets here. I keep thinking about the proto type PNut that looks like a SS2 with a purpleheart stripe I think. the $9000+ pricetag bass needs more reviews, good or bad. Yes, please throw up sound clips with that awesome Hellborg!
I got a few days to kill waiting, so, I'll do some research on the history of these basses. Fortunately, I was able to drive 40mins to test it for myself and didn't bother with an in depth search for sound clips. New bass day soon!

I respect your business sense! Mine should be here tomorrow and I'm gigging Wednesday night at The Key Club in Newark, NJ. Hope it gets here safely and not in need of too much set up. If all goes well, I'll find out what's good right away. Still, a comparison would be great. I'll pass the hat!

Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhh booooyyyyeeeeeeee! It's here and it's beautiful! I have rehearsal at 8pm so I don't even have time to wax it! It came pretty well set up out of the case, but I had to tweak it a bit. Came brand new as well. Even smells new! Brand new user kit, extra Emps and all! I got the buzz out and I'm out the door. I'm not sure how to read the ID # but it starts with 1955. I'm guessing that's 19 out of 55? Pics and review when I get home.
 
That shop would be dangerous for me. My hubs wouldn't be able to drag me out...and he gets bored when I go to music shops. Even if I don't touch them, I'd be sitting there gawking...I'd be too scared to play one...I might break it...just kidding. hahaah

It'd blow my mind LMAO!!

Very nice bass. Smart to get gear before marrying. I'm so late in this game lol
 
My wife actually encourages me to go for a new Warwick, most likely CS. Being married can be cool :)
