Bro..I never lie.....Please wait for a week to let it appear in the net..... Even if I play it infront of you, you wont believe...coz, notes at that range should be made in Wave form in Studios and that has to be counted visually.. Don t feel that only famous Big guys can do things like these... You can also do it...
I am sure not to upload any videos without a good Guitar. Because thats the one reason which resulted in undue criticism about tones, melodies, clarity etc etc.

Excuses excuses... What does tone matter when your apparently playing so fast? 36bps isn't music, so tone shouldn't matter anyways.

You can keep saying the same things over and over again, rewording the, or even come up with new excuses... But until you show some actual proof... You don't hold the "world record" for speed.

Hey Golem... if you have opportunity..listen to some Iron Maiden, any album will do...half the time they are singing about personal journeys or some famous novel like Dune or Coolridge's 'rhyme of the ancient mariner'. And if it seems like the guitars and bass are 'following' each other, its because many of the tunes are written by the bass guitarist, Steve Harris.

anyway, i think it was Kev who said metal had boring basslines because it just follows the guitar ... and i dont take offense at all. I understand why ppl think that way, after all, metal is a genre that makes the guitar act like a bass of some sort (for one thing, you can actually make thrash metal with just 4 guitar strings).

bassists in metal are only crappy when you dont see them writing songs ... and compared to other genres, it is quite true that the bassist is usually the least talented in metal bands.

jayenvarma - congratulations on breaking the speed record. speaking of which, my martial arts master can do 7 kicks in one second and he was set on breaking the record. the record holders wanted him to do those kicks in 30 seconds, which means 210 kick in 30 seconds *lol* its just insane and i dont think its humanly possible! im glad you werent given unrealistic skill exhibitions of some sort.

Bro Casey......I requested you to wait for a week atleast for the record entry to apper here. I am not goin to run away. Its easy to criticize. But Its difficult to count notes per second, if you dont convert it into wave format. And if its possible for you to judge number of notes per second, can you please tell me what is the maximum number of notes I played in the video of timing 23/8, since you have already analised it.. I would appreciate you if you can say that.
You dont have to be Famous and Rich to play Fast. Anyone can do it with hard work. So, as U said don t believe it untill you get it convinced.

I set the Record on an ordinery bass Guitar @US $ 150. I claimed and submitted my Record Attempt description as Percussive Bass Playing,since molody will be lost when speed increases and the strings ve to be muted to avoid overlaping of notes sound. I am to set another record in melodic bass playin next year.. Present Guinness record in this category is 4 notes/beat at 250 BPM. I tried it and do it at 260 BPM. However, there re some guys who play this speed, but they dont apply or go for a Record.

Almost any experienced death metal bassist can do sixteenth at 250 bpm, just like Erlan Caspersen can, alex webster can, I can, a lot of dudes on youtube can. But unless you do play death metal, it's really useless.

The guy Ederson from Brazil plays faster that with two fingers and he is in Guinness Brazil.. The Guy on the above youtube is really good. But, if it is percussive it should be rythmic. pl watch it.. I don t want to waste my time speaking to some guys who believe all is impossible and can be achieved only by Rich and Famous Bassists. Anyone can do it with 7 hours practice a day.
I actually wated to explain how I did it and how I practiced and what technique I used...But one guy is furious at me and really blocked the flow with undue criticism... Lets wait for my record to appear in net.. to prove that i am not a "lier"..as he calls me..

I never said anything about "only pros can pull it off" I'm saying, You have no proof that you can. And be sure to post the OFFICIAL link on an OFFICIAL website about your so call "world record" because all I'm finding online is you posting on myspace, youtube, and random forums/blogs that your the fastest with absolutely nothing to back it up. Better yet... post a video of this so call record speed of yours. I suggest you don't start going around claiming something, if you can't back it up... Which clearly you can't.

Whatever we do with our basses,however we choose to play them,when all is said & done,we are all bass brothers.Other musicians are envious of how tight the bass community is.This thread proves we have some major nasties amongst our ranks,as does every group.

I will sure come with my official record. There are lots of formalities to be finished. . So I need one week time. And Im called a lier... ...I been in the world of music for more than two decades. I played around 500 cover songs on more than 1000 stages from oldies to recent ones. I play Rock n Roll to Rock to Hard rock to Funk to jazz to reggae to country songs to pop to Indi pop to heavy metal to death metal to Indian Classical... except western classical(which I find tough to play)(thats the situation in India..one must know all sorts of music to perform for parties and concerts)..I am not mad to announce that I play 36 notes...
Cricisms should be precise and factual. I am ready to perform before anyone anywhere at 36 percussive notes per sec....
provided the notes should be checked in computer in studios.
Or else these guys will still say..they can t believe it...
And Whats the reward U critics gonna give me if I prove it??? please tell that...boldly and loudly
