I am really glad that I had some great discussions with you all..
Fortunately or Unfortunately, another Bass Guitar company may sponsor/endorse me a Bass Guitar next month. I ve no other option other than to accept the offer now. In this context , I feel I wont be doing justice to the said Company by being in this Warwick forum.
I will buy a Warwick Guitar Next year after my sponsorship date is over....And I will be back to meet you Great Guys.... My love and regards to all those who encouraged me and discouraged me.. and my sincere regards to my friend Casey....
I will however be watching all the discussions in this forum coz that will surely increase my knowledge about Bass Guitar and Bass playing styles.........

Thank you Guys..... Its not a Big company thats sponsoring me. A company which makes only Bass for Professionals...with the kind of specifications we tell them. Its made here in India with imported pick ups keys, frets etc etc. Thats why I said it will take a month to get it ready.... The condition with them is that I must promote the company and not to get into other forums... I ve to abide by that when its ready....ok?.....
I had earlier told that I had made a tool to increse right hand finger speed and do excercises. I have to get patent right of it before publishing it. In return of my sponsorship, I have to give them the right to manufacture the said product.
 
Well...I don't know much about Indian bass manufacturers, and I'm pretty sure that goes for more than just a few of us....so perhaps the goal of promoting this company is actually aided by your posting on here?

Please do post pictures of your bass when it arrives...I'm very interested to see it!

Oh, and congrats! Hopefully you guys can come on down for some 'good times' in South africa sometime and we can grab a beer. (nhs...of course...)
 
ha ha ,,,thats great...we will come there someday,,,,,,And our vocalist is a Southafrican girl named Caroline Greenacre. But she was in Spain for so long.. Now she is in India giving traing for Western Vocals, reptresenting Rock School of Music, London.
Its prety hard to make a Guitar of our choice... and a Risk too...
The Guitar I used in the Video is a local bought Samick. Its not original , I think.......ha ha ..
Anyway WARWICK IS WARWICK........KEEP ROCKIN....
 
And ...if anybody wants to sell a 5 string WARWICK bass Gtr, pl inform me.....I may buy it if its affordable for me now......
 
I tried for a sponsorship from Big Bass Guitar Companies..BUT, many of them don t like to sponsor a Bassist from India..ha ha .....So a small company with a small wokshop here in India is ready to sponsor me...They sell hand made Basses.
So I would like to know from you guys which of the following pick up is good for Slap Bass?
EMG, Fishman, Bartolini, Seymour Duncan
I appreciate you guys if you can get me the information.....
 
Hello Jayen all the pickups are good for slap, it depends what kind of slap sound you like...

MEC are made for the Wicks, some say they sound similar to EMGs. Anyway, I'd suggest you to get Sadowsky PUs and pre if you want the Miller sound cauz it's what he has on his Fender.
