It's still on my "will test it in the future" list, I'm happy with my Markbass Octaver (OC-2 Clone) + Aguilar Octamizer (very good Octaver for Bass but "only" one octave down). The Octamizer produces great sounds in combination with the Filter Twin. I can't produce such great/working sounds with the Octamizer + the old Qtron for example.

Anyone have any recommendations for cheaper synth pedals? Brother looking for something. Recommended the Electro-Harmonix bass mono synth but wasn’t sure if there were decent cheaper ones.

I used one during my cruise ship gig. Very fun pedal to use. of course there is a learning curve on adjust you playing/technique to make it work the best, avoid glitches, etc. Not perfect, but it sounds great, and my drummer loved it for synth pop stuff like Withney Huston's I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY or Lady Gaga's BAD ROMANCE, for example.
I sold it because I needed the money.

Totally recomended if you don't want to expend 3X more money on the C4 or the new MXR.

i would think the Boss TU-3 is the most sold pedal of all time??

I think that honour goes to the BOSS DS-1.

Peavey has some new Trace Elliot pedals out. The dual band comp and an overdrive with blend.
Both are already in my Transit-B preamp so I don't mean to try them. The Trace dual band comp is very nice though...

Because I own the Cali76cb, Diamond bass comp, EHX Black Finger and the Trace DB I really think I am settled for the compression side of things already.
